Located at the top of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, miX is the vision of Alain Ducasse, one of the culinary world’s most renowned chefs. With newly appointed Chef Bruno Riou, who trained under Ducasse for ten years, the restaurant continues to remain a culinary favorite. At miX, the setting is as much of the experience as the cuisine. Some of the the signature dishes include Spicy Crab Salad with guacamole, Heart of Palm with cilantro, Pepper Crusted Bison tenderloin with glazed vegetable and black pepper sauce, Roasted Maine Lobster “Au Curry” with coconut basmati rice; and miX Candy Bar with coconut/lime sorbet.
Designed by Patrick Jouin, miX was named “Best Restaurant” by the Travel and Leisure Design Awards in 2006. Adorned in white and silver, miX features sweeping staircases, mid-century modern furniture and a stunning 24-foot chandelier containing 15,000 hand-blown glass spheres. Reservations are suggested for this popular eatery. The restaurant opens at 6pm daily, while the bar and lounge opens at 5pm daily and remains open for your late night entertainment.
